FRAGMENTS OF UNBECOMING Writing New Material

May 18, 2005

German death metallers FRAGMENTS OF UNBECOMING have finished writing seven new songs for their upcoming full-length album, tentatively titled "Sterling Black Icon". The band are planning to enter the studio late summer to begin recording the album for a late 2005/early 2006 release via Metal Blade Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Scythe of Scarecrow", "Breathe in the Black To See", "Of The Darkest Dye", "Sterling Black Icon", "Stand the Tempest", "Live for the Moment" and "Stay 'Til the End".

FRAGMENTS OF UNBECOMING are still looking for a frontman/vocalist to replace Sam Anetzberger (LEGACY),who bowed out of the group late last year. "Thanx to everyone who mailed us so far and showed enthusiasm, but of course (!!!) we are looking for someone living in Germany near us!" the band write on their web site. "Thus, German vocalists, don´t hesitate to mail us or send us promo stuff!"

FRAGMENTS OF UNBECOMING released their full-length debut, "Skywards – A Sylphe's Ascension", in January 2004 through Metal Blade Records. The group had previously issued a self-financed EP, titled "Bloodred Tales".
